✅Innocent Joseph encountered a bloody and malicious plot by this patriarch against him, who rendered good for evil and love for adversaries. They were deliberate in the contrivance of this mischief; when they saw him afar off, they conspired against him (Genesis 37:18). They were not under pressure or suddenly provoked, leading to the thought of slaying him. They were filled with prepense malice and cold blood. Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, for he will be one if he has the opportunity. The more there is of a project or contrivance in a sin, the worse it is.

✅Jesus Christ, the only very sinless saviour, was hated, ridiculed, abused, and shamed by the elders and others. He knew before hand of the conspiracy of men against him but yet went ahead and presented himself, so he could save mankind through his salvation. It's time to consider Christ's sacrifice for our lives.

✅Joseph wasn't aware of the patriarchal gall and plot against his life at this time. The sinless Christ is fully aware of all men's plots of evil, then and now. Malice is the most mischievous thing; it is dangerous, and where it is harboured and indulged, it can fulfil bloody work. It is bad to do evil, but worse to devise it. Rise above hate, gall not, gloat, glory, and gaze as the G.O.A.T. in Christ in the Holy Ghost.
