📖Text: Eze 8:14 KJV Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the LORD'S house which was toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz.

🔱These mourning women sat at the door of the gate of the Lord's house, and there shed their idolatrous tears, as it were, in defiance of God and the sacred rites of his worship, prostrating themselves also to corporeal whoredom, and those that dishonoured the divine nature are justly given up to vile affections and a reprobate sense to dishonour the human nature sinking daily in the sea of iniquities.

😭It is indeed an abominable thing that anyone should choose rather to serve an idol in tears than to serve the true God with joy and gladness of heart!

💥The hustle and bustle of life have so entangled many that they no longer have time for the God of Heaven. Even if they do, they worship haphazardly, habitually worshipping their bodies, money, heroes, women, men, mentors, and rulers, putting their eternity with God in heaven in jeopardy.

⚙️What are your addictions? What do you seek and crave? God or Mammon? The heavens are lamenting the gravity of the number of things men have equated and replaced God with. This calls for sober reflection and repentance. Ponder and wonder about these things, retrace your steps to the almighty God, and find a path of true worship against moral ceremonies of corruption.

⚙️Idolatry in any form will fade, hence Arise and be brave, shine and shave off, wade through and shade out addictions, restrictions, and substitutions, and crave the blade of God's word in obedience. Serve an idol in tears or serve Christ with joy? If heaven evades you, the grave of hell will parade you. The TOKEN is not rivalled!

🙏🅿️RAYERS: Lord I denounce every idolatry in my life. I openly declare that you are my God and only you I will serve practically. I reject the tears of idolatrous worship and I receive the joy and gladness of worshiping Christ in sincerity. Help me to balance the desires and the affairs of my life in accordance to the word of God in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen 🙏
